Will we ever seen an item like Runeglaive again or was AP ezreal too broken?

Serious question. The unqiue interaction of old runeglaive converting your auto attacks to magic damage was really cool. We all remember the terror that ap ezreal was though as well. Question to anyone who can answer though is there any chance in the future to see something like this again? Possibly on lich bane? There are a few champs who build lich bane I could see it being viable on (Diana, Akali, Fizz, Twisted Fate, etc.) It would obviously bring back ap ezreal though, so the real question was he simply that op to where the idea can't be brought in, in any capacity?
