JayHog1992's journal in NA: Day 9 - Back after nearly 5 months.
Been a while since I played on this account. Wanted to get it to level 30, so decided to see if NA has changed at all over the course of the time. So let's see now...
Match 52: Miss Fortune ADC (Defeat)
Almost forgot how hard it is to farm in this game, especially when you lack early game damages from your runes and masteries. I did have a kind Sona, but sadly we didn't synergize well. She either didn't ult or she missed hers. We didn't have a jungler, so our Yi had to jungle smiteless. Our Kass tried to keep a cool head, but sadly our top Xin just got annoyed at Yi and disconnected to leave us with the mess. I didn't do too bad, but with only 3 items and no tanks to peel, not much I could do.
Match 53: Garen TOP (Victory)
Haven't played Garen since that one game in aram where I got it randomly. So decided to brush up a bit on the skills. And like last game, my farming was atrocious. XD I was against an Akali main, so I just did my best to not feed. It worked somewhat, we exchanged a couple of blows, but she kept roaming, and most of the times failing to gank a lane, ending up giving gold to our mid or adc. So I just took my time to farm and destroy their turret, our Xin helped too.
Meanwhile our Annie and Vayne carried, so being an EUW team player, I helped as much as I could, trying to do damage or peel for the team. But of course being a Garen, I couldn't do much.
Meanwhile the enemy was flaming Ryze for having a bad game win, even worse when he ulted himself and Akali under Annie's turret just to end up killed by Annie herself. I helped with a little spin, but that's about it. Ryze never heard the end of it.
Out of a funny situation, they got an ace on us, but we won the game because they neglected the minions out of 3 down inhibs shredding their base quite fast.
Besides a few over extends from my team mates, I can say that was somewhat successful.
And as I expected, not much has changed in NA. XD I'll manage to survive for now.
