Cant get out of bronze

I have been to silver before, in Season 4, but i took a break and LP decayed out. After doing placements this season, I was placed in Bronze 4. I won 6 games and lost 4 and got bronze 4.

Ive been playing ranked constantly trying to climb, and I feel as if Im not doing a horrible job either because Ive been winning games. Ive gotten to where I have more wins than losses. However, the ranked system sucks. It really does. I won 8 ranked games in a row and I had to win that many just to get to bronze 3. Then I lost my first 2 games in bronze 3 and i got demoted right back down to bronze 4....How is that fair?

Now Im having trouble getting back out of bronze 4. I get into my promotionals all the time, only to lose in the end. Ive won my promos once, while failing to complete them 4 other times, in the past week. Yes, 4 times i got promos and got kicked out. It took me 3 failed promos to get out, being successfull on the 4th time. and then once I was demoted back into B4, I got right back into promos, and lost first try back in B4.

You get almost no progress or reward for winning an assload of games and then when you lose one or two games, the game punishes you HARD for it. Its really not fair in my opinion. I have literally been working my ass off to get out of bronze but the matchmaking and ranked system just keep holding me down. Every time i take a few steps forward, the game wrecks me and send me 20 steps back.

How is this a fair system? Not too mention how many bad players there are in this bracket. There needs to be more of a restriction on what qualifies a player to be eligible to play a ranked match.

I'll be honest with you. It's really only your play that matters in the long-run. Everything else gets normalized and you're the only constant. Don't worry about other players. I recently went back to a Bronze account from when I first started and climbed to Gold in about a week of intense play.

Yeah, I'm in the same situation- silver for years, then this season's stupid placements dump me in bronze IV and getting out is like trying to crawl out of a prehistoric tar pit while a saber-toothed tiger claws at your back, goes 0/7 in 5 minutes and tells you how it fucked your mom last night.

I just gave up. There's no fucking point trying hard when the only thing that matters is getting lucky enough to get the team that ISN'T retarded. I mean, I'm good enough to not belong in bronze, but that's not actually what counts- what counts is the number of imbeciles ("support" Sejuani's who think Sightstone is for noobs and "rush" a 24-minute Rod of Ages), intentional feeders and DCs you get. This season I've gotten too many to get to where I belong, so I stopped giving a fuck. Whether I do my absolute best or whether I just fuck around, my team is going to either be good (in which case we win) or a pack of noobs (in which case we lose) regardless of my actions.

Oh and you think you've got it bad with terrible noobs playing ranked? I'm on OCE where we don't even have a Normal Draft queue (Riot OCE disabled it for a fucking retarded reason). So EVERY noob fresh off hitting level 30 has only one place to go when he's tired of Blind Pick and wants to try this "Draft" thing- straight into Ranked.

Don't let leagues get in your mind. Only important thing is MMR. If you win 8 games and lose 2, and still are at the same place, it's actually not a big deal. Because your MMR will have raised a lot. If you keep winning more than losing, your LP gains will increase/ LP losses decrease
