vladimir needs help..

Ughh i mean as a player with 1200+ wins with vlad im on the fence with this. At the same time I do agree that vlad needs help his inability to do anything early just stunts the transition to late game, on the other hand one you get into late game with the right build you literally shred carries heal for ungodly amounts and kite tanks while increasing your teams damage. I feel like vlad is just in that awkward state as he needs spellvamp to be effective, and there are really no other optimal builds than the standard. There is just to much room for counter play but again at the same time if you neglect vlad in lane and let him farm and get levels he just gets way out of hand. I would like a slight kit rework and numbers rework...While a nice splash and visual updates for his ingame model as well as abilities....vlad is just neglected it makes me sad :'( any thoughts guys?

Yeah I really love Vlad too. I bought the soulstealer skin and use to play non-stop with him. His early game is just really... really sad. It would be interesting to have more than one way to build the champion without loosing effectiveness. Yeah I agree that without spellvamp, he's can't do much.

Try this. Go with a full CDR page. Once you get WOtA you get 35% cdr and your Q has a 2.5 sec CD at level 9. I was playing against a KASS top last night with this set up and dominated. I went with a weird set up that had 15 in defense and then went down into the Vamp in utlility and the CDR in the offensive tree.

Some of my kills just came from maining Vlad back in the day but he's still pretty strong if picked when he can win lane.

The main thing is just to heal with Q on the enemy and don't use it to farm at all. Also, I don't keep my E stacked early levels until I get some more spell vamp. As soon as I completed WOtA and Sorc shoes I won the lane and the game handily. I was even able to take on 3 full HP enemies (Ahri, Kass, and Reksai) and take 2 down with me. His sustain, pool, Zhonyas, and 2nd pool usually buys you enough time to win the fight.
