Aatrox being gutted because of pro play isnt what pisses me off, its the fact a 2x standard exists.

Aatrox, who Riot hated for taking up all of pro play top lane, got nerfed because of pro play. Okay, I can see why (shoulda just fixed toplane and its matchups instead). However, what pisses me off the most about it is the fact Akali, a pro dominate pick, wasn't gutted for crowding out picks. No, she got nerfed, then buffed, then buffed again. Aatrox meanwhile got nerfed hard and left in the dumpster to fester for the 3rd time in a row. Aatrox is pretty much left without a purpose to exist while Akali sits nice and cozy, using Conq or Fleet, and Gunblade to terrorize melee tops and dealing tons of very hard to answer damage because of her mobility. So yeah, care to explain why this double standard is okay Riot?

Aatrox isn't a waifu or a protected group so he's gonna get his butt ripped out. Think about who won't be nerfed because of outcry and main them.

Cause Akali also got gutted just like aatrox at the start of this season.

Both Akali & Lee Sin. Blind piece of crap got buffed basically for no other reason except securing a spotlight pick in Worlds just to hype up the crowds.

because she got a skin that people have to pay for and aatrox got the victorious skin so they dont care about making him broken as they dont get money for it.

Well for Akali, it be foolish (through a a business standpoint) to nerf her when she has a new skin (hence the buff) recently out.

As long as she is played alot and skins sell (they kinda cycle into one another, so it won't end soon), they aren't going to balance her for awhile.

You notice that champs getting new skins have buffs prior to the release and stay that way for awhile (I assume until when the sales die down for their respective new skin)
