Dynamic Ranked feels like premade vs premade.

**Not all premades use voice communication. Not all premades are smurfs. As a Solo player, my contributions are diminished due to smurf premades with voice communication. So as a Solo player it's literally a coin-toss on what quality premade you get paired with.

There's just way much more coordinated tower dives and ganks. Not to mention there are a lot more wards and even quicker objective rotations and lane pushing.

Problem 1: It's hell for Solo Players.

You thought fighting 1 challenger smurf in low elo was hard? Try fighting a 3 or 4 man premade of them now. It no longer reflects personal skill anymore, because no one would know if 1 person got carried by 3 or even 4 smurfs based on just checking someones profile or lolskill stats. It literally just feels like coin tossing to see which team gets the better premade. It's a personal nightmare for Solo players and especially introverts who are pressured into premading due to this change. Overall there are quicker rotations, faster objective pushing, ridiculous amount of warding, adequate peeling for carries, evenly distributed tower diving, and proper chain-cc timing. It used to be an honor to tell people you got to X elo from pure Solo and had the ability to carry 4 strangers. Now it's either getting carried by a premade, or being absolutely stomped by the enemy premade. It's like my Solo potential is completely buried by the premade triumph.

Problem 2: It's hell for Secondary Supports.

I like supporting. I don't Main it though. Phylol makes a point about how the Secondary Supports are picking other roles now because Support is default higher chance over their main roles.

Problem 3: Queue is WAY too long.

This applies to high elo especially. People who wait 30 minutes to get matched, only for someone to dodge because they didn't like the comp or forgot to lock in and got dodged, this is a major tilt factor. It's frustrating, especially for streamers.

Problem 4: What about people who play 3 or 4 roles?

Filling assumes you know 5 roles. Default minimum is knowing 2 roles. We basically only get to choose 2 or 5, not 3 or 4. If we could pick 3 or 4 roles, it would significantly make Queue times go faster.

Conclusion: Dynamic Ranked is a nightmare for Solo players vs Voice Communication Smurf Premades. Dynamic Queue is very Support rigged. It takes forever to get into a game at higher elo and it only lets us pick 2 or 5 roles (not 3 or 4).

I agree with all of this except for the deafult minimum being 2 roles learned. If you only learn support, you will just about always get it if you go support/fill. I hate the new system too. Thanks for the videos!

  • I play a mixture of both solo and premade. I really can't tell a difference. (Maybe its an ELO thing? I'm only Silver).
  • yeah. Secondary support and fill is basically asking to be put at support.
  • I've noticed that if your queue is going on longer than normal, try restarting. Usually speeds things up (for me).
  • An everything, but ___ would definitely be nice

I really find that premades are hardly a problem in low elo (bronze/silver/gold).

Also whats wrong with coordinated tower dives. This is the way the game is meant to be played. Not everyone alone running around with no coordination.

New champ select is a big reason I hardly play anymore. A better solution would have been to select roles based on pick priority, then on to pick intent.

UPDATE Day 15, Patch 6.6: Still getting destroyed by 3-4 man premades. My solo roams and plays are getting buried by premade coordination.
