Changes to make Cait more unique

So I have been thinking, Cait is supposed to be a sniper but to me she doesnt have much of a sniper feel to her. Her traps are more and net are hunterish rather than sniper. Granted she is supposed to be a police officer so a net and snaring traps make sense, but I was wondering if there was a way to make her more sniper-esque.

So something I was thinking about was what if her W was an anchor ability much like old xerath. this could give her extra range, increased crit chance, but decreased attack speed. and maybe she could only ult if she was already anchored.

just thought something like this would be cool and fit thematically as a sniper.

It's almost like jhin is the sniper and cait is wielding an assault rifle with a scope.

They really should embrace her Sniper-theme, rather than just giving her a bit more attack range and a long-range ult

What if Caitlyn was like Jayce or Nidalee and had seperate abilities per stance?

Sniper's IRL usually carry their Sniper Rifle and a Side arm (usually a pistol).

What if Caitlyn's R allowed her to swap into each weapon accordingly.

There'd be 2 sets of abilities, 1 set for Side Arm and 1 for the rifle.

Side arm abilities would be -

  • Low - Medium range (Kled's Dismounted Pistol Shot is a good example)
  • Low - Medium damage
  • Average cooldowns and mana costs

Sniper Rifle would be -

  • Medium - High range Skill shots. (Snipers can miss)
  • Medium - High damage.
  • Medium cooldown and mana costs.
