What if "big" summons were treated as champions ?

The upcoming Annie update, putting more emphasis onto Tibbers, got me thinking about champions having a singe strong pet as an important ( or supposedly important ) part of their kit. And thing is, most of the time, this supposedly important summon you do not really get to play around that much because it either dies real fast in a teamfight or serves no real purpose aside "doing damage on the side". I feel like treating Yorick's ultimate ghost, Annie's Tibbers and Mordekaiser's champion ghost as champion units could open the path for both cool item build options, team building options, and play patterns.

These could be used to block Cait's and Jhin's ult for exemple. They could benefit from Aegis' and Sona's auras They could benefit from Soraka, Nami and Sona heals They wouldn't be susceptible to be smited anymore and would be tougher against abilities that do bonus damage to minions yet be now exposed to abilities that can only hit champions.

This could cery well be the most bullshit broken or the least impactful idea ever, but I seriously feel like being able to interact with these pets as if they were champions would make them that much more interesting to play around and if not that much more powerful in the hand, they'd at least feel more satisfying to have around.

So waddya'll think ?

Welp. That I didn't think about. Fair point here. It's kinda sad IMO how little interaction there is with those "impactful" pets as a part of their team. Sometimes they make me hope the Aegis aura at least affected minions... and then I think about how obnoxious it would be waveclearing as a mage against someone that'd build it.
