Why can you ban champs that are locked in?!
I get trolled way too often by kids thinking it's funny to ban the champ i (pre)locked in. Either because it's a new champ being banned because the guy banning it doesn't get to play it himself, or a brainless troller, or whatsoever. It just doesn't make sense that it's even possible to do so. I can imagine it makes sense considering really overpowered champs being banned by people in general, but that's as good as never the cause, and if my team wants to play that certain champion - why should i ban it, even if it oneshots all players in the world being ingame and giving the user 9999 million dollar with 1 click - why should i care? Riot knows best what's overpowered and what isn't. So after we made this clear - what's the reason you can ban prelocked in champs? It's such an easy way to make people start the game with the worst attitude possible, whereas it's not even possible to be reported for banning champs other already prelocked in. I'd love if it was changed to champs being possible to being prelocked in, and additionally, i don't know, doublelocked or whatever, making it impossible to changing the selection, forcing the player "doublelocking" in a champ to actually pick that champ when he gets to pick his champ except for when another teammate locks in the champ before (or an enemy player), and at the same time making it impossible for other teammates banning champions "doublelocked" in. This would cause players to overthink their decision when prelocking in their champ. There would be two ways:
-
I know i want to - under any circumstances, maybe because i'm a god with it - play this champ, and no other, which is why i doublelock it in knowing i HAVE to play this champ since this moment except for when an other players gets to pick their champ before i can and picks that certain champ i doublelocked in, giving me the option to choose another champ.
-
I can/would play multiple champs / I want to make a counterpick to my enemies, which is why I only prelock my champ in risking it getting banned by my teammates but keeping open the possibility to change my decision before loading screen.
This would be such an improve to draft pick. I don't ask you to also implement it in rankeds - that's what you'd have to decide - but in NORMAL games where it's about having FUN which i don't have when I open LoL to only play one champ and there's a [insert bad words] teammate banning my prelocked champ.
