Does minion block deserve to be in the game?

So I'll give everyone a little bit of context, I've been playing the game now for about 4 years now. During this time I've managed to pick up some kills because the enemy player was spinning in circles/ couldn't move at all. And of course, there's the flipside which is that I have died many times to not being able to move/ pathing really inefficiently away from the enemy player.

Thing is though, minion block only causes frustration. Even if in that first scenario, I get that kill because they got blocked, well... they should've lived. I just got 300 gold because of some RNG AI walking in a strange way and the hitboxes prevented that person from getting out. Do I feel I deserved that kill? No... Do I feel skillful in that situation? No... So really my gripe is that regardless of which end of it you're on, you're not satisfied.

In a game solely based on skill, map control, vision control, your individual micro skill level on that specific champion, how well you rotate, your wave management, item builds, positioning. All of these the player controls, and you could do all of these things perfectly. But you get minion blocked... and basically, it didn't matter because when you thought you got out, you still died.

I know there are items and champions that grant the ability to ignore creep block, but no-one should have to change their build, nor their champion pool so they never have to deal with this.

Let us propose the following situation, you may be against someone with a devastating skill shot, this could be a blitzcrank or morgana or, whoever. So you're positioning within or behind the minion wave to make it harder for them to hit that skillshot. Now you run into the problem of making sure you get the last hits and keep building that cs lead. There have been so many times where the minions will re-aggro an enemy minion causing you to be blocked from getting that cs. This is especially bad on melee characters, but your ranged characters can still suffer in this situation.

What I am trying to do is see what the community feels about creep block. I understand this may just come across as salt, but let's imagine it got removed, and people can cs easier, get out when they should and get the kills they deserve. What are your thoughts?
