Who's a good, hard, and fun mid laner to main?

Looking for a new main, and i enjoy playing mid. I used to main support but i moved on to kat mid and im getting a little bored of it now. I like to play someone really hard, can carry really hard/do a lot of damage, and preferably unpopular. any ideas on who to play?

Edit: I was thinking more like orianna or jayce, or assassins like talon?

AurelionSol , Taliyah , or Cassiopeia These guys all have a lot of skill needed to play, aren't super popular, and can do some damage.

AurelionSol has really crucial positioning and can do a ton of damage but needs to be played around by teammates so he isn't exactly a standalone hard carry like kat. However he is a super niche pick, is really hard to play, and can carry if is allowed too.

Taliyah Is so disgustingly strong in the right hands. Just watch Midbeast if you want some proof. High damage, have to work around worked ground, combo is hard to land but it is really rewarding if you can, ult makes you be able to pressure the entire map really easily, just super versatile in general to be honest.

Cassiopeia Is probably the most popular of the three but can DPS like none other. If you hit skill shots and want to melt everyone in a team fight single handedly, I'd go cass.

You edited saying you wanted an assassin. Pretty much all the assassin are really popular, so prepare for that! But Zed Fizz and Leblanc are probably the most rewarding to put a lot of time into and can all solo carry games.
