Question: What was kayle problem that rework solved?

Hi if you read the title i'm asking to you what was kayle issue that rework should or has fix. Intended weakness doesn't count in my opinion such her lack of mobility spell.

I believe they wanted to rework her bc she was a little bit to much of a "stat check" champ. Aka she needed enough CDR to become ranged for "full time." (Enough CDR to have E always on.) Otherwise she wouldn't have a good time in the game. Hopefully the rework will change that.

Looks like it is to create some more interesting power curves. A lot of heroes in league seem to scale on the same pace and the rework is a true hypercarry.

In terms of gameplay, nothing. she still is pretty binary and feels like a god if she can reach lvl 11/16 without falling to far behind while beeing a glorifyed minion if her poor early gets abused... The only thing that kinda got fixed was her killing one or more people duering her ult, as the new casttime prevents her from AAing for most of that time.
