Suggestion: Make Sylas Ult Cooldown Linked to the Ult He is Stealing
So, I still think Sylas' ult is still super strong lane, but I think I have a solution that might work. What if throughout the game, Sylas' ult cooldown inherits it's cooldown timer from the ult he is stealing.
For instance, low cooldown ults like Jayce, Nidalee, Anivia, etc. would allow him to steal their ult use it and then a few seconds later be able to steal someone else's ult. However, if he steals Galio's ult early it will be 1min 30s before he can steal another person's ult. This would make his gameplay much more of a skill matchup instead of the urf style steal everyone's ults late game.
This also would mean that going into a teamfight, he would have to be wise about how he uses his ult (just like every other champ in the game).
I think this single change would keep him still a very strong pick and even counter pick into certain champs, but that he would not be the oppressive monster that he is right now.
Sidenote, maybe make it so that he doesn't get any after effects from using his ult? An 8k health full ap sylas after stealing cho's ult multiple times is disgusting.
Sidenote #2, maybe he should lose whoever's ult he has if he dies or gets cc'ed too much? Kinda like Kirby?
Anyways, those are my thoughts, let me know what you think.
then he would have a bad time ulting as theres only 1 good target (assuming you dont have an insane ally knockup for yas ulti) and with the 200% cool down on stealing the same ulti it wont be ideal matchup.
