I dont understand

Ok so I go positive every game but 1, even have a pretty good kda. I win 5 of the 10 games and im like " I should get silver right?" Well wrong I get bronze 4 even though my friend, who trolled 9/10 of his ranked games and fed every single one gets bronze 4. How does this happen?
