Matchmaking system is just brutal

(As a last year's silver), I don't always meet a master in my games, but when I do... he's on the opposite team and kicks our a** in a minute. I mean, really? Should master and silver even be allowed to play against each other? And what kind of system decides that the both teams in cases like these are "equal"? It's not even unfair anymore, it's brutal. I bet even a 100% random matchmaking wouldn't give me such a disadvantage.
