A buff on AP Kog'maw after the Rylais change & E nerf
Please note that I know Kog'maw isn't made for playing full ap/its an off meta build and I'm just begging for a little bit of buff here.
Just the last patch Kog'maw's E base damage got lowered by 20 on max rank and the ap ratio got nerfed from 0.7 to 0.5 . While Rylais also got a nerf on the slow passive from 40% > 20% for aoe abilities (And ap Kog RELIES on rylais to actually chain his artilleries).
I've read the patch notes and I understand why the changes have been made. The patch notes noted that Kog's E damage is nerfed because the wave clear he has right now. And while it's true that ap kog has insane waveclear (can just sit back and ER at wave and it disappears), the damage to champions isn't really that impressive for an ability with a quite long cooldown. You can say ap Kog doesn't really rely much on E since his core gameplay is lategame abusing his ult. But ever since the marksman rework and the Rylais 20% slow nerf recently it isn't really that possible to just ult from a distance since the damage/slow decrease, it has a decent mana cost increase (which I know the reset timer has been lowered so a buff :P). While I agree there should be counterplay to an ult that has huge range and can do huge sustain damage (which is having kog to sometimes walking close enough to use his other abilties too), the "other abilities" part isn't really doing that much.
What came up with is decrease his damage to minions with E or ult to really nerf the waveclear and not affecting the actual damage output. Also he is also a champion that needs to adapt to the rylais change. In the patch notes riot stated that they would be making changes to champions that got hit by the rylais change hard. I'm sure ap Kog is one of them and I just hope he is not forgotten.
Disclaimer to not get flamed too hard: I'm a filthy casual so what I said may actually not be balanced and ap Kog'maw may actually be ok right now at this state. But the Rylais change really did hit him hard.
