Queueing model [Would love if Riot employees tell me their opinion]
Well, I saw few weeks earlier that riot is having problems with queueing system (a whole half an hour video on ytube). Why don't you make the second option always fill whereas the first option is your preferred position with few modifications.
If the matchmaking takes a like 30 sec not finding optimal dreamteam selection of positions(not that hard in low elo except maybe for support) kicks a new added conditions that checks if for example there are 10 people but 2 of them that has to be on the same team have the same role desire(lets say adc) just picks the one one with greater counter(explain this counter in a sec) as his main roles and the other was is picked for the fill position while reseting first player counter to 0 and the second player to ++ (programming reverence) so the more you don't get your position the cahnce is to get it on next game rises..
the counter basically counts how many games before you got your desired position. I have assume in low level queues this probably won't go over 3. but it would give higher elo something between current dynamic queue system and previous solo queue blind role picking.
To be honest even some streamers that i have watched actually implement this in a way(by always having fill role on first or second anyway just cuz they don't want to wait 8 min or more for a single game).
I really would love if Riot people would comment if they see any flaws and compare with their vision of it . Just would love if we can have a game design discussion as good as firm policy allows.
