Because you didn't have enough farm. Grades are based off of all the benchmarks

Because after 5 or so kills on an enemy, a minion wave starts to net you more gold.

Tbh the CS calculator needs to be looked at. If you have 27 kills you should pretty much get an S ( following that you took objectives too and had high KP )
