Started the season in Silver 1 now 2 weeks later I am Platinum 2

Little back info, I used to be platinum - dia since season 5, but I didn't play much in season 8, demoted to gold 1 then and played horrible for quite a while, so my MMR tanked hard and going 1w 9l in the placements didn't help me out much either.

At the begin I got around 27 LP per win while losing 13, that's thanks to me being diamond in season 7, but after a bunch of games (At that point gold 2 then) my LP gain and loss got more even. I now receive 23 LP per win and lose 17 LP per win. I lost my promo to platinum 4 three times.

My current winrate is 54% at 138 games.

It is definitely possible to get out of silver (and lower of course). The best tip I can give you is to pick a main and learn that character in and out. Also stay positive in chat and if you don't feel so good, either jump into a normal game first, or take a break at all for a few hours.

Of course I don't play perfectly. I do have a few good games, but I also have some extremely horrible games. As its the nature of the league community, of course I get blamed in the games that I am not playing so well, because I am the OTP, but it's important to keep a cool head. Don't let the chat influence to and never talk back to people that blame or flame you.
