Well no shit thats why I spent my money on it to begin with. Ik its a waste I just find it enjoyable. Like opening a pack of cards. So for the love of god let me spend my money.
Rito just don't want to deal with the huge waves of customer complaints because the customers don't know the point of gambling after getting "shit" 100 times. It's kinda like the same reason MMOs remove the "gifting" option from cash shops because they don't want to deal with dozens of customer complaints from getting scammed.
Not saying the Hextech chests are scams (they're not), but it's for the sake of their own convenience of not having to deal with such complaints.
It's also the same reason they have sent another email for saying "please be patient we will get to you" when you sent in a support ticket, because they assume the playerbase to be full of idiots. Which, to some extent, they are not wrong.
