So is playing League while drunk a common thing?

Or is it some lame excuse for pretending to not be bad, throw, etc.

Had a game where a teammate said he/she was drunk and can't function properly. The player threw the game. Apparently the person also had a high elo account too and said being in bronze means you had to have brain damage. I thought it was cute, that insult.
