It has gotten to this point sadly Rito
Many champions simply CANNOT keep up with the newer designs. Newer champions have huge movement speed abilities and short cd gap closers where as the older champions don't have shit for movement. The newest champion, Rek'Sai, has a free flash every 18 seconds I believe. Zed has a free flash every 20 seconds or so; Ez, same thing. Udyr, free ghost every couple of seconds. Hell, even Graves has his E. Cait, Vayne, Lucian, Rengar, Kha, Fiora, Jax, Diana.
To be honest, I have a really shitty theory that has been remarkably accurate these past 6-7 months. If playing Gold or higher, you have a greater chance of winning if you have more mobility spells than your opponents. Whichever team has more movement speed boosts on a shorter cd and more free flashes, they tend to win. The simple thing is that you get out of shitty situations better! You get more fail safes! Thus, less of a chance of being killed or ganked which means easier farming and a better mid-late game. I know that when I jungle I always think in my head how the gank will go before attempting the gank. If the opponent has more than one flash I know that I will have to burn my ONE flash to burn both their's, however, they get ONE OF TWO flashes back in 20 seconds so I know that I will have a very hard killing them when attempting again, unless they mess up badly, very badly.
My point is, this is getting a little ridiculous. Just because I choose a champion that has a free mobility ability doesn't mean I should win my lane against an equally skilled opponent. This is becoming a game of flashes, not skill.

Dont even get me started on Kassadin.
Maybe its a select number of champions that need help, because it seems too many champions have flashes, and the ones that dont, forget it.
support/mid and she is one of the most immobile champions in the game, i hardly ever lose with her. Even with all the champs with mobility creep old or new. So what is your excuse?
