Really? In my experience, I've shit on Tahm Kench's playing as Jax. You can dodge this auto's on his passive and leap away from his Q's. Later in the game is W doesn't out damage your W, if you want you can just hop away, and your ult makes his W pretty damn useless.

Yea so... Why do you need to win trades? Why do you have to win trades early why not just focus on farming? You have all the tools. If he tries to auto you for passive stacks you can dodge them with a skill, if you feel it's dangerous you can Q away. Is the real issue that you were pushing too hard early and not respecting his early strength, rather than last hitting and waiting for ganks, and scaling?
