I have lost 14 out of 17 ARURF games. I know, I am probably not mashing the buttons enough...
I am convinced ARURF is not nearly as fun as regular URF... I am not getting to play the champs I would like to, and i am always seeing champs that dominate from the first second of the game.
I would like to know;
I miss being able to pick my champion in URF. Now I can play 3 matches in a row and get Irelia all 3 times even though I absolutely hate to play her. If I'm going to lose, I at least want to lose playing a champion I enjoy.
idk what made Riot think Random URF with NO champ bans would be more fun than picking your own champs, knowing exactly who WON'T be in the game.
Yes. Instead of "oh someone picked that stupid OP champion in URF, maybe I'll play something I know counters it" it's "Oh look, they got Yi/Zed/Azir and I happened to get a no mobility ADC. Guess we lose. I've noticed more FF at 15s because of the All random part of it. Nobody wants to play the champs they're stuck with longer than they have to. It was an unnecessary change to a nonexistent problem. They've already made the small balance changes (like capping Teemo shrooms), they just need to give back the fun that's found in player agency. People think up crazy new things to do when they can choose their champ (Janna ADC too fun). But when you get randomly stuck with it you just try to not feed. Riot once again shows their menial understanding on the concept of "fun"

Yeah I win about 1 in 5. Even when I get "lucky" and get a semi op champ the enemy has something better. Or I get fucked by Riots garbage matchmaking. Oh you finally got a decent champ? Guess what the enemy team has 2 diamonds and a gold carrying them against your low silver ass MWHUAHAHA, sucks to be you.
Random URF... with my luck in randoms... I tried it anyway, won't be doing it again unless someone else drags me into it. I do not enjoy that kind of broken experience.
Why can't we have the doombots more often?
This really needs to happen. There's nothing worse than losing a game because of RNG. I'd rather lose a game with champs that I picked then lose because the champ I got sucked or wasn't a good match up. Also, some people might think that 10 bans aren't enough, but 10 bans are better than none.
With that being said, I wouldn't get my hopes up for an update. Riot doesn't seem to really like URF, seeing as how we only get to play it every 3 months (if that), and it seems they rarely ever make changes to the rotating queue. But while we're talking about the rotating queue, I'd also like to see rotating gamemodes last for an entire week rather than just two weekends.

So regular urf where everyone just picked the most spammable OP champs in that mode was a lot better? I will agree, I don't like the random factor of current URF. Getting on one team where the other gets Riven, TF, Yi Lucain or whoever else is cancerous there is not fun.
But regular URF I still feel wouldn't solve anything, even with the 10 bans. It would still require you not picking the exact same god damn champs for multiple bans and even if you did ban Yi, Riven and Nasus in that game there still might be Zed, Eve, or Syndra that people could still snatch up.
I, personally just want a fucking ban system before it assigns us whatever champ. At least then we would have a chance to prevent people from randomly getting TF or Yi and possibly get some fun team comps going.
sure the only way to test ,if it performs better or worse than arurf, is to try it out. I don´t know why riot is so scared, when it comes to urf.
