Support getting graded wrong

I like to main support and I have few issues/questions that I want answered. for one, support is ENTIRELY reliant on the ADC. I am fine with this, it makes sense. What I don't like are that support are graded on their kills and NOT their assists. a support isn't meant to do massive damage last I checked. and yet, getting better then a B is near impossible without killing a few enemies yourself. furthermore, while I like the new team player Idealism, it REALLY hurts me (saltily) as a support when people choose adc as a secondary and then get all mad when they get it because they don't know how to play ADC. I am not saying that it isn't going to happen occasionally. Though, out of all the games I played last night in RANKED. 9/10 of the ADC's were absolute CRAP! some were douchebags, others wouldn't even talk in chat. I know I am not even close to an amazing league player.. but this is ridiculous. Give support some love... not just reworks..but genuine THOUGHT. please!
