This Is Why LP Gain Shouldn't be tied to Teammate Performance
Literally 2v5ing the game with my rando bot and WE LOSE only because the enemy team happened to not have 2 Rage Quits. This is every other ranked match. I just got back into S1 then 3 games straight of people AFKing or RQing and what do you know? Back in S2 and demoted again from teams where its 4v5, 3v5, 2v5. It's bullshit. No matter how well you do, you're penalized for what your teammates do poorly. Sure it's a team game but why is LP strictly given based off of a few peoples performance over the rest. Players should AGAIN not be penalized for doing well and trying to win as a team when a few people can just feed and leave and cause the whole game to be inevitable loss and loss of LP and possible demote. It's aggravating. If leavers are detected at least allow LP loss to be smaller, not demote, or loss prevented, instead of penalizing players for actually trying.
This isn't just a recent issue either. I was Gold 3 before Preseason. These issues non stop recurring caused me to drop to S3. And getting back while sure If teams are equal in players standing are fair wins or losses but that's rarely the case when this is so common an issue.
Allow LP gain to be influenced by more then just W/L at end of game. It may be an intended "team game" but not everyone obviously plays like that and players who try are left to deal with the bs. Luckily this is only Gold-Silver Elo. Now imagine the lowers elos where elo hell exists because there are more players prone to tilt and smaller gaps between W/L ratio for LP Gain/ LP Loss. Or higher Elo where games count more. Where literally one player going afk can decide the difference between a win and a loss.
