Quick Gameplay Thought
Just wanted to know if there has been a situation for the development/balance team where they have considered a gameplay update where, say an X champions E gets a base dmg nerf as it gets overpowered late into game but the percent changes are necessary to keep the early game going.
Champion X (Lv 1) (>>lv18) Q - XXX W - XXX E - 80 Dmg with 16s CD (40 Dmg with 8s CD) with scaling ratios being same.
What I'm getting at is leveling up an ability actually nerfs the base dmg dealt but is compensated from the champion level as well as the scaling ratios. But if said player doesn't level up that ability, the penalty would be through cooldown.
I see a lot of the current champions are being reworked or balanced around scaling into mid to late game. Once they get to that late game their dmg is out of proportions/insane to understand the output they do. I am looking at Irelia/Fiora. They have amazing scaling and champion kit to endure through that early game, yet no matter how bad the early game goes, they out scale even the marksmans in game come the 35min mark.
