Does anyone else think Renekton is too good late game?

I don't have any stats to base this on, but it seems like a late game Renekton is too good for how amazing his early game is. He should be like pantheon; great early and mediocre late game. But Renekton can survive a lot longer, can put out a lot of damage in teamfights or he can splitpush rather effectively. I just think that Renekton should be less strong late game because his early game should be his focus. Thanks for your time.
