What's the difference between Ranked Flex and Ranked Solo/Duo?

I need to know if the ranked placement is different in each one? Like can I be Plat 1 on Flex and Plat 2 on Solo/Duo? If I decay in Flex will I decay in Solo/Duo? If Solo/Duo is for 1-2 premade, how many people are intended to queue together in Flex?

Thanks in advance.

Ranked placement is different in each one. In-game it's effectively the same, except that in Flex you can play with premades of any size (as long as that size is not 4)

It is different in each one, if you finish your placements and land silver 2, that is only for the gamemode you played on so lets say solo. You need to play your placements in flex 5v5 and flex 3v3. They're all separate.

If you're above plat, you will decay in all 3 ranked gamemodes, flex 3v3, flex 5v5 and solo/duo. If you havent play solo/duo in a while but you still play flex you will only decay in solo/duo if plat and above but if you stop playing both you will decay in both plat and above.

You can queue 1,2,3 or 5. You can not queue with 3 other players. Either get a 5th man or someone will need to leave so you can play with 3 players. Hope that clears things up! :)
