Riot Suggestions Feedback (Forgot to add)
I filled in a suggestions feedback yesterday but I forgot to add a couple things I remembered later.
a) In ranked games, sometimes players connected will AFK or simply d/c or leave right at the start.. for whatever reasons. Please allow people to remake a few minutes later depending on when they left or if they have gone back to the fountain and not moved since 3 minutes+ (Within the first 5 minutes of the game)
b) Again, AFK's or D/c's. Sometimes players have legit reasons for afk'ing or disconnecting. Dog fighting their neighbors cat, someone broke someone's window.. parents pulled the plug. I get it. It happens! I'm not asking you to punish this but I have a better solution :-

Either allow others in the team to control that champion during the time the player is AFK so that we can still 5v5 or atleast hold! OR -

If they completely left after connecting (earlier like in Suggestion a) or AFK late in the game for over 3-5 minutes; and the player system is uncertain on whether they are coming back or not- please allow other players to join the game to fill in this person's role. You could give them incentives to perform well here. For example, give them half of the LP the person would normally get with no loss AND a 'game' to fill up a 'quota' of games which in turn would turn into a surprise reward later at the end of the split. (Could be say, do 10+ or certain fill-ins for d/c's where you help your team win after joining!) Additionally, I want to add that you should allow the 4 players to 'request' a sub. Not randomly assign if no one wants it! The team of 4 players left should be responsible for the situation after they get the new sub, win or lose! So that they don't whine about getting one when they didn't want it or someone's XXX friend was gonna come back etc.
Right, when the team requests a sub.. you can put the game on a short pause. After all, they wouldn't know if someone's coming back or not until 3-5 minutes LATER. And if the game still keeps running, that'd be another 2-3 minutes which would really put the guy way behind. I'm sure that you can improve on this, there are some clever minds around but yeah, that's that.
