I can't stand the chat in this game. It completely RUINS what was supposed to be a great game. Most of us only play solo queue and that means having to cooperate with 4 frustrated strangers. It doesn't take 2 minutes for people to start blaming one another. This EXISTS. So why in god's name does riot refuse to add the option to disable chat completely? It boggles my mind. Such a simple thing ruins an entire game. Sure, YOU may not be bothered by raging players but they ruin YOUR match. And there are plenty of those players. So why doesn't riot deal with this in the easiest, simplest, most efficient way possible? Let us disable the chat when we want! No, pressing tab and muting everyone is not a solution. Just do the math, in a thousand games you will have unnessessarily clicked the muting buttons 4 thousand times, when instead you could have toggle an option once. It's offensive to suggest muting. Don't. Just give us the option to disable the chat. It's ridiculous. I quit. Au revoir.

Ummmm you CAN disable chat... Just go to interface settings and change the transparency or size of the chat box to a non visible level.

Or just hit Tab and mute each player .....I mean, i'm not TRYING to be an ass here, but after 5 years you should know these things. So on that note, Bye.

That would disable the game generated text. What we need is the option to disable players' text.

Red Rengo: /muteall has to be typed on every game. If they can VERY EASILY implement something everyone has been asking for that would remove this minor, but constant hassle but they don't, I find it offensive towards the player base.
