Riot, Please do not go through with the trundle q nerfs, It was not the problem with him.

the Nerf: trundle's q no longer works on towers.

Ok, this is my first time complaining about any nerfs and it's more due to the fact of the timing of all of this. I just started to pick up trundle more regularly over the past couple of days in ranked since i liked his style and knew he is strong atm. Now, i already knew of his other nerfs to his e and ult and i thought those were fair and fairly easy to get used to. However, this q nerf which i learned about recently, will destroy trundle in my opinion and make him pretty much trash tier unless the enemy has a pure tank on their in team (which tbh is quite often but still). Now I have to abuse him till the change before removing him from my champ pool almost entirely.

I'm no trundle main so I'm sorry if the true mains disagree and im sure some will since he should still be fine with laning but i usually play him full tank with iceborn. With this q nerf coming in i will do absolutely nothing to towers until i have a sheen and even then i still won't be able to proc it as often because of how long his q lasts when you press it and you do not attack anything.

Im probably over exaggerating like the usual league player but i just feel that split-pushing was a part of trundle that was not nerf worthy at all because trundle does not have the best escapes so sticking to a tower is risky even with vision (and your usually using w when on tower leaving you with only pillar to find an escape most of the time). What is strong about him right now is the tankier meta and the fact that he can spam ult and e (two of the most annoying parts of his kit) all the time without any real consequence due to their current mana costs and cds.

Please Riot, im begging here, just hold off the q nerf until you see how much these smaller nerfs affect him or at the very least let him use his q in the same way that mundo's e does (without the extra damage and it goes on cd) so as to not completely destroy his pushing power.

EDIT: I guess i should make this clearer. I value trundle's split-pushing more than everything except his ult shred. The reason i pick him even into comps where there is no true tank or even a bruiser is because i can still build full tank and apply pressure elsewhere with how he is now. After this nerf he will just become a champ only picked to counter a tank unless you are supporting as him. That is probably not even a problem considering how oppressive he has been lately but it is what i liked most about him.
