Bring back Runeglaive as a 5th jungle item

Hey there, Onwodori here.

While I agree that Runeglaive was not an item for all AP junglers to build, it definitely had it's place and was strong in many ways. It allowed for a different group of champions to become viable and strong in the jungle and I would love to see them come back again.

Perhaps you would have it scale with a multitude of stats to make it the 'all around' jungle item - Mixed champions like Skarner, Jax and Mordekaiser would be quite content to have it!

Let's review real quick what it used to do:

UNIQUE – SPELLBLADE: After using an ability, your next basic attack (on-hit) deals 100% base AD + (30% AP) bonus magic damage (1.5 second cooldown).

Against monsters, SPELLBLADE deals area of effect magic damage around the target and restores 8% missing mana. SPELLBLADE also deals double damage (200% base AD + (60% AP)) against the first monster hit.

A lot of people felt it was too strong so I would think something along the lines of:

UNIQUE - SPELLBLADE: After using an ability, your next basic attack (on-hit) deals 80% base AD + (20% AP) bonus magic damage + (5-90) magic damage (1.5 second cooldown).

Against monsters, SPELLBLADE deals area of effect magic damage around the target and restores 5% missing mana. SPELLBLADE also deals double damage (160% base AD + (40% AP) + (10-180)) against the first monster hit.

This would keep Juggernauts from running away with games and would only really help the AP champions that use it when they are building penetration as well -- stacking straight AP wouldn't help them or rather it would be more helpful for them to have Runic Echoes anyways.

The stats would change to be more about having mana to cast continuously with the base magic damage to compensate for the lack of AP and to encourage people to use the item when it actually makes sense:
