Can we just go back in time?

This game was so balanced before Season 6 and I thought that's what Rito was going for. Why did they feel the need to change everything at once? Could they not introduce changes into the game at a slower pace like they normally do. I LOVED playing this game a few weeks ago and after the first couple games I had to quit playing because it's so obnoxious. There was no reason for Rito to throw everything they worked to achieve out the window. Basically, just here to complain, i guess. Does anyone else feel like they threw all the progress out and decided to start from scratch?

I'm going to say this very slowly and carefully.

This Is The Preseason

Every year--every single year-- we go through dramatic, systemic balance changes that cause a huge upheaval of the game's order. This is completely normal. It happened in Season 5. It happened in Season 4. It happened in Seasons 3, 2 and 1. It will happen in Seasons 7 and onward.

Within 5 or so patches, things will be a lot more stable and balanced. Hell, right now, things aren't nearly as terrible as other, hyperbolically hysterical players have been saying. It's chaotic, yes, but not nearly so imbalanced that the game is any worse than past preseasons.

As a Katarina main, I can say i enjoyed the tank meta more than I'm enjoying this current state were in :/

Completely agree. I've played about 10 matches of the preseason, give or take, and it just feels broken. I really enjoyed season 5 and I'm not sure how much of season 6 i'll play after this preseason. Is it usually this much of a change between seasons? Everything feels way off.

Same feeling. The game isn't really fun for me compared to the last season I knew and loved. Honestly the things that bug me the most are the item changes. I found alot of the unnecessary.

The game has definitely changed, though if I was to take what I know now back when I started in season 1, I wouldn't be happy with the game. It was shallow and rather bland in comparison. Don't get me wrong, I still love the good ol'days of 5 minute normal queue time (sarcasm) I just think Riot took their vision for a "Fresh new game" in a horribly drastic direction than what the player base wanted and expected.

thats what preseason is mate its rough i know but this happened last preseason and the preseason before its just hard for people to accept change but fear not cause riots next few patches will be dedicated to tuning everything out

This isn't the first, and it won't be the last time Riot shakes the meta around, if you can't adapt to the changes then you're playing the wrong kind of game.

Do you people expect riot to wave a magical wand of balance? They are people trying to keep a massive game fresh for people. They won't make anything near perfect at first.

Riot how about you buff every champion instead of nerfing them. Over the years this game has grown into such a watered down bland boring disappointment. Its just a continuous nerf cycle. Instead buff champs to compete with the op ones. Every champ should be viable and yet you create new ones when half the champs we have now need buffs and reworks. I don't want casual league I want league to be exhilarating.

every preseason they throw balance out the window for the purpose of making the game better. That's just how it is, and honestly right now is the funnest time of the year. Check out the new stuff see what you can do with it. Balance will come soon.

This game is ridiculously unbalanced right now...why is it that every ad champ can pretty much 2-shot everyone else. I think it is more fun when fights take a bit longer

Not even S5 bro, I would go back to season 2 , while ap yi was not deleted, and ww can go top becase there weren't many super long ranged top, and he can build Madred's Bloodrazor, which totally kicks botrk's ass. These are my best days.
