ELO, MMR, and LP What determines your direction on the ladder?

I've been reading about the difference between MMR and LP and I think I understand how it works. I just want to see if a couple things can get cleared up for me.

If I win 10 games, and in those ten games my score is on average 3/5/3 or something like that, and I only won those ten games because I didn't necessarily feed but I certainly didn't carry, but I happened to be grouped with great players who carried me, then I will gain less LP per game and while I might end up in a higher division because of my wins my MMR will be low, correct?

Conversely if I lose 10 games, but in each of those ten games my KDA was much higher, and I was a greater asset to the team, but just happened to lose none the less, I might not climb the ranking ladder but my MMR will be higher?

Or rather, I'll be viewed more favorably if I have a good KDA, take objectives, don't get reported, etc in addition to my wins or do these things not matter?

Um.. this is pretty much nothing like what I've heard.

MMR = ELO. MMR is just league's 5v5 version of the ELO system with a few tweaks thrown in to make it league-specific. LP is just an abstraction of your MMR that is just supposed to make you feel better about yourself.

The game in no way cares what your KDA is. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is whether you win or lose.

Your KDA doesn't affect your MMR. Whether you win or lose does.

its not bad here, at least we only have like a 1 min wait time to start a game.
