5.16: Tank Favoritism (Step 1 at further ruining the game)
There's already enough tank items in the game. Now we have to worry about more?
Theoretical can only take you far but, consider there's also tanky runes/masteries (you guys put slow reduction as first 2 points in Defense Tree, so goodbye Rylais Karthus and Miss Fortune). On top of that there's now so many [Health + Armor] or Health + [Magic Resist] items (now including the new randuins which has 10% critical damage reduction) that certain champions with HP% Shredding or True Damage can just straight up build Full Tank and still dish out enough damage to kill glass cannoners. It's like Riot has something against glass cannon builds and assassins now. On top of that now we have supports with more Armor and Health growth and all they have to do is just stack shields and heals on ONE person and let that monster become 100% unstoppable lategame. NO champion should be 100% stoppable lategame.

In-game people won't stack 13k but they still do stack at least up to 3000 and usually on unstoppable tanks like Nasus, Shyvana, Warwick, Elise, Volibear, Garen, etc who already build full tank and take absolutely 0 damage from the joke turrets you've installed into the game. How are we assassins supposed to deal with this? It's almost like you're pushing our requirements of Early-Midgame snowballing to absolutely level 1 Early game snowballing.
I main Diamond 3 and play ADC and Assassins usually and I'll tell you at that elo it's hard enough but manageable. Think about all the lower elo players though who are gonna struggle when they try to push for early snowball with these new tank items. It's almost like you guys want people play ONLY tanks, literally pushing us assassins out of late Season 5 Early Season 6.
Another solid thing to point out is, Dyrus is mentally strong and has stayed the longest within TSM but now even HE has decided to retire this year. Your game is going in some direction Riot, I won't tell which, you can figure it out. You wonder why CS:GO is now the #1 for Twitch Streaming now.
Enemy: But building 6-item tank won't give damage? WRONG. Certain Champions don't need damage items to dish out damage. Nasus, Shyvana, Elise, Lee Sin, and plenty of other champions can dish out HP% Damage or True Damage so they can straight out build full tank. On top of that you have Warwick with like 4.5k HP + Banshee, healing almost 300 a second and doing ridiculous amounts of on-hit with the new jungle items. How are assassins supposed to deal with that?
You really think Liandry is going to stop that? What seems like 2% hp shred doubled to 4% when cc'd is absolutely nothing when the enemy heals it back up and has tons of Magic Resist. I tested this out with full Penetration runes and masteries and Abyssal, Sorc Shoes, and Liandry and it didn't do anything.
And then you have to mock us with Morello's Tomb. Why does it only heal reduce at 40% Health? Do you realize how much of 4000 to 5000 health and lifestealing + Allies Shielding/Healing the target, we'd have to burst to get them down to 40% to even proc that reduction effect?
Why do you put in these items like Liandry and Morello's. Blade of Ruin King does 8% HP per auto and on top of that people can actually build Attack Speed to increase that effect. Liandry on the otherhand is that very slow and ineffective shred that people can just shield off or lifesteal back up.
In conclusion: 5.16 League of Tanks; RIP Assassins, for now your enemies don't need 1 second to react to your powerful plays. Just build 6 item tank for a reaction time of 30 seconds, which who wouldn't react at that time unless they had 5000 ping.
Fix your game please. It's like Donald Trump is funding you guys, giving the rich tanks even more tank benefits, and the assassins absolutely no place in mid-lategame.
Why do you think people laugh at Shaco picks in ranked? Because they know he falls off lategame, so a once 10-0 Shaco early now ends up going into full splitpush or just Support Shaco mid-lategame just because the enemy knows how to open up a shop and build 6-Tank Items.
How is Katarina supposed to Pentakill now in lategame? To begin with she already has to face at least 10 crowd controls against a good enemy team, and now on top of that people just shield/heal stack on the one tank who builds 6-tanky items.
I think the only good thing that came out of this patch to stop tanks was the nerf to Cinder:

We shouldn't even be nerfing the jungle though, it's just the item was so great people were taking it into lane with smite. Usually top laners. It's just such a dumb concept. Remove DFG but add in Cinder. We're left with Liandry which doesn't do shit because it's not true hp%, it gets reduced significantly from Magic Resist and Damage Reduction kits/masteries even with full penetration runes and itemizations.
As my name says, this game is a joke now. I hope you're happy with the free roaming tanks. Us assassins will be moving onto other games where we're appreciated more. Maybe WoW, RoM, CS:GO, Planetside 2 or something new. Long live reflex-oriented games.
