Latency in game

Hello riot. Do you think its possible to add an option or some kind of verify-er of one's latency before entering a game ? I am a lot on the road and I try to play from different hotels. some have good internet, and some have horrible internet. however, I cant see it until I am in game, ruining 20 minutes for me and other 4 ppl.

it would be great to be announced somewhere if you are ok to play or not. Also, over the years, I saw a lot of people complaining about lags, which might also be reduced if they know in advance they cant actually play the game.

It was just a thought, if its possible.
