Am I an exception or am I just missing something? Better than where I'm at.

"You are ranked where your skill level is" "Learn from your mistakes" "Check the minimap every few seconds" "Ward often"

My last match: Sion/Top 8/7/8 2nd most damage dealt to champs 1st dealt in total 1st in most damage taken Died the least amount of times Placed the third most wards Only person to use a pink ward 300cs Most on team by 127/most on both teams by 32 2 of 3 towers taken Invloved in the only dragon we got Died once out of 5 ganks 2nd longest killing spree (3) 2nd larget multikill (double)

I died on 1 out of 5 ganks because I constantly ward the river bush, always take skuttle, and usually ward in enemy jungle. Always saw the ganks coming because I check the minimap. I push when I have anywhere from 1 - 3 wards on map, and I always fall back (gank another lane, go get skuttle) when I don't have wards. I died that one time because my ward went down but I kept pushing. My mistake, but a week ago, I'd probably have died all 5 times for doing that. SO i'm activily getting better. not equalling wins yet.

Previous match Sion/Top 2/5/5 4th most damage dealt to champs 1st most damage dealt in total 1st in most damage taken died the least amount of times 3rd most wards placed only person to place pink (2) most cs on team by 43 (3rd most on both teams by 4) took 2 of 2 towers destroyed

It just goes on and on. If I remember correctly I think I stole red buff twice in that game. In the game before that I was a jungler and I got my top laner Herald TWICE. least deaths, most wards placed that time i think or maybe 2nd most, lost that game too. It just goes on and on. Everything people say: lack of wards, no map awarness,, too many deaths, chasing for kills, not takiing objectives, it doesn't apply to me. It did. To be sure. A week ago I had been getting really sloppy and I was dieng too much, not placing enough wards, pushing to far. For the past week I've been focusing very hard on my map awareness and position, the presence or lack of sight, taking towers ><taking dragons/heralds, ganking other lanes, invading enemy jung (safely i.e. when i see him all the way in bot lane etc). It is not translating into wins. Why? Same old "excuses" you've heard a million times before: shitty team mates, toxic team mates, etc. Tell me elo hell isn't real. Serious, I watch and read guides and they all say elo hell isn't real you are making mistakes, and then they list the common mistakes. I don't make those mistakes nearly as often as I used to. I focused all my energy on fixing those problems. I now consistently have the least deaths, the most cs, 2nd or third most wards placed, always the most pink wards placed, take the most towers, usually involved in dragon or herald kills, don't die to ganks because i always have vision, and it is not translating into wins.

The last match I did win: 6 games ago Voli/Jung 7/2/10 4th most damage dealt to champs 4th most in total 1st in damage taken died the least times 2nd most wards placed (25) 2nd most pink wards placed (2) 4th most cs on team (jungler, spent most of my time ganking) Largest killing spree (7) Took 6 towers Took 4 dragons Took 1 Herald

Only reason I had so many kills is because I ended up KSing several times by mystake. Got a crit on a Voli Q once lol. So as you can see, not much difference in the stats. Least deaths in all 3 games, most cs in 2 of 3, most damage taken in all 3, most total damage dealt in 2/3, 2nd and 3rd most wards placed, 2/3 most pink wards, most objectives taken. So my performance is steady but I've won 1 in the last 6.

So you don't think I'm just picking the best of the six these are them in order: 8/7/8 Sion Defeat Most CS Least deaths 2/5/5 Sion Defeat Most CS Least deaths 6/5/11 Voli Defeat Jungler (3rd most cs) tied for least deaths 10/3/11 Sion Defeat Most Cs Least deaths 10/7/10 Sion Defeat Most CS Tied for least deaths 7/2/10 Voli Victory Jungler 4th CS Least Deaths

So yeah. What? The only thing I can figure, is that while my team mates are shit and feeding a lot, perhaps I am STILL not doing enough to help them. Maybe I don't leave lane soon enough and roam, maybe I don't roam to the right places, maybe I don't take the enemy jungle as often as I should, maybe I should still try to reduce my deaths. So anyone got any thoughts or pointers?

You are missing something Total Damage means nothing only damage to champions you have low kill participation which means you aren't with your team as much as you should be. Also, as a Plat player your Sion builds make no sense to me. Taking Ignite/TP seems risky and even if you get ahead it seems like you aren't making much happen around the map. Actually a lot of the items you build on a lot of champions seem largely inefficient which means you lose a lot of potential stats that would be more helpful to you than the ones you are getting.

In my opinion I think you aren't better than where you are at.

If you are better than you are you will get to where you belong if you play enough games. If you are still stuck after a hundred or two games, then your aren't better than where you are and you need to take a long look at figuring out what you can do better instead of looking at what your team is doing wrong. You can't control your team, but you can control yourself.

I did include damage to champs and total damage, just to show that I am contributing to damaging champs, but my total damage is just refering to damage to creeps, monsters, and objectives. So i'm putting out more damage agaisnt dragon, herald, towers, and inhibs than anyone else. that is important.

The match making system puts the best player with the worst player. If you're dominating your opponents, its natural that your allies suck.

I'd have to disagree with you. I don't play carry champs, but I do have a high number of assists. So I am participating, but maybe I can participate more. I agree that I get carried away with my builds. I'm working on getting more efficient with the builds. But I am better, that's just a fact, I consistently have the most cs and the least deaths. That makes me better, but perhaps not as good as I could be.

first work on having less than 5 deaths every single game.

fastest way to climb is being light enough that you have the opportunity to catch your feeders up.

Shrug... I suck at this game... I'm basically plat out of pure stubbornness... I do what I can and never stop trying to win... Best advice I can give. Good luck to ya.
