Some Teemo rework ideas
Ok i have made several of these threads over the time about a Teemo rework because i really want to fill in a niche whenever i play Teemo. I want to make it short so these are the main issues you have to consider when thinking of a rework for Teemo.
- Is his lane harassment going to get worse?
- Will he be able to maintain his identity? I believe any Teemo main wouldn't want his identity to be changed i.e. what happened to Galio
- Is his kit going to be more toxic?
- As with everything, will there be counter play? (most people think his mushshrooms have no counter play)
I believe without waiting for a full VGU there are some changes that could make Teemo alot more fun to play and at the same time fill in a unique niche as Teemo. I believe only his R needs some tweaking so he doesn't become overbearing as most reworks end up being.
These are some of the suggestions to his R ONLY.

His mushroom have a explosion radius. Exploded mushrooms detonate other mushrooms in the vicinity. it could make placing the mushrooms in patters much more fun and effective. This is similar to how GP detonates his barrels. Teemo can only detonate 3-4 mushrooms at one time. Note that mushrooms that will detonate this way don't stack up their DOT damage. So Teemo will be sacrificing 3 mushrooms to deal the damage of 1 mushroom but the trick here is that stepping on any one of them will cause a huge explosion and cause many other in the area to get poisoned. Just like how GP may use 2 or 3 of his barrels to deal the damage of 1 barrel, just so he could get increased range.

Increase mushrooms lasting time to 7 minutes and Increase his capacity to hold mushhrooms upto 5 at a time. Although increase his CD on them so they are not spam-able. This is only so he could make patterns with mushrooms more easily.

Teemo is allowed to pick his thrown mushrooms. Just to make sure he can capitalize on them as much as possible.

Lastly his throwing range on mushrooms is wayyy too low at early levels. By the time it is of any use the game is close to the end. They could nerf his late game throw range and maybe increase his early game throw range?

This change might not be liked but if teemo could get some sort of speed boost near his mushrooms, jungling would be alot more suitable for him then.
So as you can see, there is no change to his damage whatsoever. There is also no change to his laning phase pre-level 6 so you can gank him then. Even after 6 it will take him a lot of time to setup mushrooms and his mushrooms don't really hurt until he gets liandries or some AP. I don't think he rofl stomps lanes anyways especially the top meta picks are way too strong for him currently. Pretty sure his identity will be unchanged and jungling will also be much more fun with him as you place the mushrooms around the jungle. Just not too sure how difficult it would be to code these changes. Any suggestions?
