Kayle is one of my most played champions, but I think her lategame damage scaling is silly. I say totally delete her true damage and reduce her ascended attack range to
range or below and her design will be overall healthier. If she struggles too much after that, her W nerfs could be undone and/or her base defensive stats could be slightly improved.
I feel like at the current rate, she's headed towards becoming a very unpopular champion like she was before the rework. She had a high winrate pre-rework yet hardly anyone bothered to play her. I think that may be her fate again after continual nerfs. If she could get some power shifts away from lategame low-counterplay ranged DPS, then her appeal can broaden to players who value utility therefore maintaining some play rate while decreasing enemy frustration and therefore decreasing ban rate.
