Kayle's win rate for 35 min games is 60%

Do we really need a champ who auto-wins if their team can find a way to drag the game out long enough? This seems unnecessary and completely non-skill based. Can we not make her passive enhancements rely on stats like Kai'sa? So she gets strong with items and not free levels.

I completely understand the logic of "we are late game, stall it out" but 60%?

Kog' Maw is only 53%

What makes it even better is that her early isn't even bad, what an amazing champion. She is getting nerfed this patch though.

What's a "35 minute" game?

What makes it worse is shes almost immune to anything that hits her attack speed. I played as tahm against a kayle, got the attack speed reduction item and she was still attacking fast because of her passive. Her range is also just outside of the aura for the item as well . .

It's funny how riot implements these types of champions and yet, doesnt give us the tools to counter the champion because those tools have been nerfed into the ground

1good job OP. You've correctly identified Kayle's intended niche. Have a cookie!

Omegalul. I guess we should go about nerfing Kassadin and Veigar too while we're at it, cause they both also have really high winrates 35 minutes +.

again, nerf kleptomacy

stop letting a champion have a rune that gives free gold

Kayle is one of my most played champions, but I think her lategame damage scaling is silly. I say totally delete her true damage and reduce her ascended attack range to Sivir range or below and her design will be overall healthier. If she struggles too much after that, her W nerfs could be undone and/or her base defensive stats could be slightly improved.

I feel like at the current rate, she's headed towards becoming a very unpopular champion like she was before the rework. She had a high winrate pre-rework yet hardly anyone bothered to play her. I think that may be her fate again after continual nerfs. If she could get some power shifts away from lategame low-counterplay ranged DPS, then her appeal can broaden to players who value utility therefore maintaining some play rate while decreasing enemy frustration and therefore decreasing ban rate.
