So, i've been thinking for a long time about a possible Teemo rework, since he's disabled i don't really have anything else to do in my free time, may aswell share it with you guys.

Please read this entirely before giving your opinion, every little detail is important in a champion's kit and i would love constructive criticism, just don't hate me just because i main Teemo, that would be a shame.

It was confirmed that Teemo is on the Rework Schedule and it's frightening to think how could Riot completely ruin our favorite Scout. So here we go, my vision of what Teemo could become.

First of all, let's talk about what's so annoying about Teemo, shall we?

  • His poison, i bet everyone hates that part about him, but let me tell you, this is Teemo's bread and butter, not his shrooms, not his blind, it's his poisonous darts.
  • His Mushrooms, everyone says "F*** Teemo" when they step on a Mushroom and i get why, i mean even i, a Main Teemo gets how unhealthy of a mechanic the Mushrooms are, what's the counterplay? unless you have an absurdly coordinated team, you can't do much about it.
  • His Blind, oh god, such an outdated form of CC, an ADC's nightmare (and some top laners too), but this isn't as bad as the other 2.
  • His face, yes, admit it, everyone hates it, i love it, but you hate it, the way he smiles while he's slowly but surely killing you, this gotta stay tho.

Now, how do we stop Teemo from being the annoying little guy he is, while at the same time keeping his essence?

My vision of what Teemo could possibly become is In this Teemo vs Master Yi video, i don't want him to be some annoying little rat that hides behind his mushrooms, instead he should be the guerrilla veteran he's supposed to be.

So, let's start, this is what i would like Teemo's rework to be.

Passive: Toxic Darts.

  • Every auto attack from Teemo poisons the enemy, dealing X damage over X seconds, stacks up to 5 times, when it gets to 5 stacks, the enemy will be blinded (Graves/noc kind of blind) for X seconds, this has a X seconds of cooldown.

Q: Crippling Mushroom.

  • Teemo throws a noxious mushroom, which deals moderate deals moderate damage on impact, adds 2 passive stacks and slows the enemy for X amount for X seconds.

W: Scouting Ahead!

  • Passive: When Teemo enters a bush, after X seconds he turns invisible, gaining X movement speed, he can move freely inside the bush, but as soon as he leaves it, the Invisibility is lost, the movement speed lasts for X seconds and rapidly diminishes.

  • Active: Teemo gains X attack Speed for X seconds.

E: Unstable Mushroom.

  • Teemo Stores a mushroom every X seconds, up to a total of 3.

  • When used on terrain, Teemo plants a mushroom which lasts for 5 minutes, if an enemy steps on it, it gets hit with a big slow, that lasts X seconds, which decays fast and he is also revealed with true sight for 5 seconds. This does NO damage.

  • When used on an enemy, Teemo jumps back while at the same time throws an explosive Mushroom to the enemy, which is knocked back, the enemy is slowed briefly. Can only be used if Teemo has mushroom charges, it uses one charge. This skill should have short range, at most it should have 250 range, not more.

R: Swift Maneuver.

  • Passive: Teemo gains a boost of movement speed that decays over the next few seconds everytime an enemy champion triggers his trap or get hit by his E.

  • Active: Teemo fires a paralizyng dart that stuns the enemy for X seconds, dealing high damage.

This could possibly turn Teemo into a jungler, which i would be fine with.

This would address the problem with the current blind of being too easy to apply and doing way too much damage.

It also would solve the problem with wasting too much power in a skill that requires you to stand still, which is absurd.

It solves the problem of people getting enraged when stepping on a mushroom, since it wouldn't be that bad anymore.

The damage from the poison wouldn't be that high as it is now, since it's his passive and it would take him 5 auto attacks to do comparable damage to what it does now.

You won't get one shotted by his AA - Q - AA Combo anymore, which is good, even tho it's fun to do, i bet it's not very much for the enemy.

This would turn Teemo into the champion that he's supposed to be, a guerrilla soldier, who excels in squirmishes and ambushing the enemy, but isn't very strong when it comes to team fights.

It does solve some things about Teemo's own problems too, for example, not having an escape, getting blown up before being able to counter attack, being able to access his stat steroids on demand and not having to stand still to do so and last but not less important, he would be able to scout, like he's supposed to do.

This seems like you just switched the spells around his r is on his e and q on r now and he gets tons of movement speed

pls rework him into a passive support, focused entirely around vision, and using his shrooms basically as extra wards instead of a damage dealing tool.

there is still a nieche for a support in this game, who just grants his team a large amount of vision control.

If you think his blind is too effective, then I have to question your skills as an ADC, because he has no clutch mobility or other methods of getting to the backline in a teamfight, such as going invisible whilst moving like Twitch or Shaco. If you, as an ADC, are killed by Teemo over and over in 1v1s due to a blind, then you're out of position.

His shrooms? You claim to be a Teemo main, yet you say there's no counterplay to his mushrooms when sweeping lens has been the bane of Teemo's existence ever since its release.

Teemo doesn't need hard CC or an attack speed steroid. He needs mobility. Leave his shrooms the way they are, and if people think it's annoying, tough shit. Make his W a dash, make his shrooms undetectable by the sweeping lens trinket, keep the blind, and replace his passive with something that gives him inherent tankiness, like something combo-based as with Graves and his resistance stacking.
