How to make your lane ACTUALLY gankable
While it can be funny to joke, I thought I might share some tips. Do share your tips as well!
#Burn enemy's key abilities. This is generally their summoner spells, but a lot of champions also have abilities that allow them to escape. For burning basic abilities, it should be more for when you're about to get a gank. If you burn a 20 second ability while your jungler is doing a camp, it would probably be back up by your jungler comes around.
At 300 second CD, burning this can make the gank a lot easier.
at rank 1, Rocket Jump has 22 second CD.
At rank 1, Arcane Shift has 19 second CD.
At rank 1, Remove Scurvy has 22 second CD.
At rank 1, Hookshot has 16 second CD.
At rank 1, Hop has 22 second CD.
#Have your abilities available.
Be ready to lock down the enemy laners to make the gank easier. This generally means saving the ability while your jungler is coming, but also to have enough mana available for when you get a gank. Summoner spells like
can also help.
#Track/Remove enemy vision. If your opposing laner leaves your vision/heads towards river, they're probably warding it. If you see the enemy laner coming back from base and has a control ward, but when you see them again they don't have it anymore, then you know the control ward was placed. Try to figure out which possible gank path is warded, so that your jungler can avoid that route. Also, you could use your own control ward or sweeper (if you're the support) to get rid of enemy vision. Another tip: if there is an enemy ward near your control ward, you could use that as bait for the enemy to try to clear it.
#Let the enemy overextend. Let them push the wave, or freeze it in front of your tower if possible. Ganking an overextended enemy is a lot easier than towerdiving.
#Start fighting/bait the enemy into fighting you a bit before the jungler arrives. By forcing your enemy to commit to a fight, you can burn a lot of their key abilities right before the jungler arrives.
#Ping/use chat if you've done some of these things. Especially in low elo, we can't really expect the jungler to know all these things. Let the jungler know what abilities are down or which paths are warded. Let them know that the enemy is overextended, and that you have abilities up to make the gank successful.
