i still dont understand the counterplay. "Pink wards hard counter her!" WOAH! now i can at least see her when she 100-0s everyone in the game.

Lb does the same thing, but mr stops lb and banshees makes it extremely difficult for lb to kill you. Yet, if you build bashees against akali, it doesnt matter. She'll cut through it like butter with a lot less chance to get away from her than lb gives you.

Akali can go 0/3 pre-6 but it doesnt matter because once she hits 6 she becomes a god even in bronze hands and ends the game 10 minutes later 10/4. Lb cant do that. if lb goes 0/3 in lane shes basically screwed even when she hits 6.

Akali has less counterplay than Urgot . And thats saying something since Urgot is the most broken champ in the game.

Or you can take the opportunity and blow her squishy butt up while her abilities are on cooldown. Akali' play style is simple. Jump target, blow cooldowns, drop shroud and wait for cooldowns, rinse, repeat. Until she has a few kills and is snowballing, she can't just pop someone with a single rotation. If you can stop her from snowballing, then you've stripped her of any real presence.

Play someone like Annie, Lissandra or Syndra.

Mordi can really make her life miserable in lane and in team fights he just cant lock her down which lets her still run about getting kills.

Benefits of playing annie, Lissandra, or Syndra

  • Laning: When played well you can 100-0 akali in lane
  • Roaming: you can clear lane and follow her to counter gank with your CC
  • Team Fights: You can lock her down and still 100-0 her.
  • Mordi: just bullies her and contributes nothing later other then damage or tankiness.

she needs a nerf plain and simple she has just as good if not better a game as katarina at every level better at 6 and later imho and yet katarina is getting hit with a nerf.
