I'm a Warwick main and I'm not feeling it this season.

Warwick was nerfed hard because of his ult + Devourer + Skirmisher's Sabre smite allowed him to do big damage early game. Now both smite and Devourer has been nerfed hard, but none of the nerfs on Warwick have been reverted. Some of them don't even make sense. His W used to last 10 seconds, now it lasts 6 seconds. That's a 40% nerf on an ability that had nothing to do with the combo everyone was complaining about.

I remember a Rioter posting that they only wanted Warwick in the jungle, not top lane. Now his jungle clear is extremely slow. Shyvana is 50% faster. I've gotten reported for picking Warwick, people's view of him is so bad. If you truly mean what you said, please consider reverting at least the 40% nerf on Warwick's W.

Normally I don't post comments, but you touched on something that is sorta of a problem with being a Warwick Main. I'll be frank, I don't think Warwick is weak, in fact, he's my main because he's so useful if played properly, IMO the real problem with Warwick is that people don't seem to know what to do with him. He's not mention by Rioters except to say a rework is coming indefinitely, and the community believes he's inherently bad compared to more complex or "skillful" champions. When it come personal power on WW, he's quite strong, so strong in fact, I believe his late game power might be better than most champs, including other devourer users. If he needs a buff ( and I'm hesitant to suggest one, in the case he might be TOO strong), he might need a better early. Until he's reworked he will never be a threat to lanes early, but if he was given a Q mana cost change (perhaps increasing his W costs to balance) he would be able to useful in the case of a early fight and be able to use his Q to punish people who get too close. Right now the mana regen on the machete is the only thing that allows him to Q more than a few times in the jungle and he often has to start blue if he wants the mana to keep his health high during his overly long Jungle phase. Anyway to say WW is a bad champ is flawed, but rather he's a simple champ who is perceived as inferior to other, more meta, champs.

TL;DR: Warwick is stronger than most people realize, but his low mana pool coupled with high mana costs on his Q during early game make him weaker and slower in clearing than he already is.

...You do realize that WW's not exactly weak right now, right?

He doesn't need any buffs.
