Rengar Role and Riot's Plan for him

Lets get the obvious out of the way. Yes I love Rengar and play him a ton. Get over it. If you can still listen to a sound discussion, please do proceed:

What I am wondering given the recent changes that are being made after the assassin update, is what exactly is Riot trying to establish. Clearly there are classes for a reason. There are bruisers. The ADCs. The utility based Supps. Mages. Assasins. And on and on we go. But I guess what I am trying to understand why Riot feels that it no longer holds a responsibility to let champions who belong to a given class, do what they are supposed to. In this specific case I am talking about Rengar who has been nerfed 4 or five times now.

I understand nerfs that allow him to be a lil more predictable...again...who cares about Evelynn, twitch, shaco (all of who can one shot when fed), but it seems like riot just doesnt like the idea of an assassin...ASSASSINATING SOMEONE. I wish somebody from riot can comment on this. Rengar's previous nerfs were under the pretense that you wanted to expand the trade window in fights...But now it just seems like you are pushing every rengar player to go bruiser and tank builds. And no one understands what to think of your grand plan when an assassin starts going FULL TANK to succeed.

I hope you get my point and at least explain your future plan for him. P.S - With so many people playing Rengar after his rework....you guys didnt even release a new skin? In 2 years? SSW isnt a skin. Its like a shitty white Chroma.

Anybody else got thoughts? For or against this? Lets get the salt on!
