Annie has always been a really strong mage, her burst is very high plus she gets a stun every 4 spells (which doesn't take long to get) and on top of that the stun lasts a long time. She has always been able to insta burst anyone without DFG, and now that is getting removed so she will be able to beat even more mages in a burst duel. Riot, please consider a nerf.
She is losing the DFG burst damage just like every other mage that would buy it.
I expect great compensation buffs like what happened when they nerfed lichbane by 25% ap ratio. Many champs that would buy lichbane got ap ratio buffs by around 20%, even lux got a 20% ap ratio buff to her passive as compensation for the lichbane nerf and she isn't known to relay on lichbane.
She has to burst ppl or she would be useless. Literally the ony thing going for her and you want to complain
Annie is one of the very few old school mages to actually have at the very least a small spotlight, not to mention the fact that the current meta is assassin based with high mobility. Nerfing her would further the approval of assassins only, which i believe is a very unhealthy style of gameplay if every other champion picked in the mid lane is for high mobility.
Mage = Extreme damage Assassin = Extreme damage + high mobility, most of the time the damage is higher than old school mages for some reason.
