Reverse Ascension update

The newest update to Ascension, where the ascended doesn't get chosen right away, was a step in the wrong direction if you ask me.

Xerath is a god and so therefore killing him isn't exactly the easiest given that you can't recall and half the time Ascension is nothing but team fights. So when the chance arises to take Xerath and all your team pulls together to kill him, there shouldn't be a chance for an enemy champion to rush to the center of the map at full health now and just bully your whole team away to steal becoming ascended because your team is all low health from Xerath's massive AoE.

Having the chance to snipe a Xerath kill was fair; like in Summoner's Rift, there is a chance to snipe any Drake, the Rift Herald, Baron, or Elder Dragon. It is something that takes both skill to do and to prevent, continuing something found in League's main game mode was only appropriate to be in Ascension. When the whole game mode in essence focuses around kill Xerath and becoming ascended, those worthy who killed Xerath should instantly get the buff like before. Running into a circle and dancing until the buff lands on you doesn't take skill and takes away all the effort into actually killing Xerath.

I really like Ascension and am greatly disappointed seeing it being changed so drastically over something so small. I honestly had a teammate in one of my games question if it was worth trying to kill Xerath even because the enemy team would just take the buff again. That isn't the kind of mindset people should be getting from the Rotating Game Mode Queue I feel; in my opinion, the Rotating Game Mode Queue was always the relaxing, more carefree place to enjoy something not so demanding.

Thank you for taking the time to read this all; let me know your thoughts on the matter, even if it's just a vote in the poll. :33
