Red line below Ally kill makes me think an enemy got a kill why was this changed?

In the current patch I keep seeing red lines below ally kills. Its quite odd I'm so use to the blue line meaning an Ally kill and red line meaning an enemy kill. Now i have to check to see whether an ally died or an enemy or check the potraits
