Change Minion Collision Boxes with Reasoning!

We all love that moment, when you try to back out from a trade, gank, skirmish (what have you) as minions are re-positioning or otherwise moving. Then the dreaded creep snare occurs and your character spazzes out taking 3 seconds to cover 1/2'T (one half Teemo). Minions re-position fairly absurdly and often too ("I'm locked in MORTAL COMBAT with the opposing melee minio...OOH THAT ONE THREW A BUBBLE! LEMME GIT IT!!!!!")

Riot, dearest friends, we know you don't shape minion collision boxes like stars, but it sure feels like it sometimes and it's incredibly frustrating. From pleb to streamer, both minion re-positioning (aka minion ADHD) and creep snare is just...oof. Yes, we can just lose gold sometimes to that incoming slow push with wonky minion HP that the tower won't cleanly prep for us. Yes, we can stay back, but that is anti-fun too and unpleasant.

Introducing the Minion Phalanx (just a mechanic, like turret armor and siege minion resistance). When minion models are close enough together (touching or nearly enough), their collision radius is smoothed out together. It can break and reform, but as they stand near one another, instead of creating a bunch of pockets to wiggle through, it's a wall of collision Anivia. It will still impair retreat, but in a way that is intuitive. Minion Phalanx would also improve targeting and re-targeting decisions by not changing to a new target of the same threat tier (melee minions bouncing around from enemy minion to enemy minion) when active.

Is this difficult to code? Well, heck...I don't know. It might be a nightmare but, gosh darn it, we'd just turn into a bunch of Jinxes if frustrations of this ilk were stripped from League.

Thanks for reading and LUV YAZ!
