Discussion on possible Mordekaiser tweaks

After playing him a fair bit, I'm relatively undecided as to whether he's silly right now or not. Quite frankly, I don't want a thread becoming a he is/he isn't discussion, but rather a tasteful discussion on a few things that could be done to alter him and offer more windows to counterplay against him.

So my major thought as someone who really enjoys playing him, is that his ultimate simply doesn't offer a lot of opportunity to fight back. As a laning tool, losing 10% of your stats from the get-go is pretty rough, effect power disparity then being about 20%, ebb and flow of the lane withstanding. And so spending all that time in a 1v1 cage match, immediately losing out on those stats? That's rough.

My proposed idea to fix this is to instead sap the stats 1% per second spent in the shadow realm. It's a small shift, but it means that in the first few seconds, you have a much more significant shot at fighting back. I also understand that this only adds up to 7% due to it being a 7 second duration. I'm sort of undecided on whether lessening it to 7% is necessary, or if it can just take another 3% if you kill them?

Anyways, most everything else feels alright to me. What does everyone else think?

Just shift his dmg from his passive to his Q, this is where is problem lies, too much of his dmg its on something with little counterplay which is causing all the butthurt children to cry, while is q is rather irrelevant to his dmg Additionally, the duration of his Passive w/o hitting anything should prob be reduced by 1-2 seconds, but give him ad ratios to compensate
